The hardest part about making this card was deciding which color to put on each glass. I finally thought about using the tops to my Copic markers so I could move them around until I got the layout the way I wanted. I am sure other people have done this too, but I am fairly new to cardmaking and don't know all the tricks.
I used a new to me stamp set by Clearly Besotted called Raise a Glass. I colored in the images with the Copic colors shown above. I then adhered to a neutral grey card.
UPDATE: My card was selected as a "Rocker" in the Watercooler Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

Karen this is really a cool card for someone who likes to raise a glass or have fun making cocktails, so your friend Rob should be thrilled with it. Great idea to use the Copic lids to help assign the colours. I'll have to note that in my tip bag for future. Thanks so much for playing along with the Masculine "Anything Goes" challenge this week at Watercooler Wednesday. Great card.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have thought of using the lids to help decide the color layout! Thanks for sharing with us at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges!
