Coffee Lover's Wreath

I always love the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hops and I've made this bright cheery card for their  Spring/Summer Blog Hop.
Sunny Studio Quilted Hearts Embossing Folder
I wanted to do a springy wreath so I went through my stamp sets looking for images that would work for my idea.

I started by dry embossing the background and then I die cut a circle for the sentiment area.  The "quilted" panel was attached to the card base with foam tape so there would be nice dimension. I stamped, Copic colored and die cut a bunch of images and then started working on my layout.  When I had the wreath the way I wanted, I took a picture with my phone so I could glue everything the same way.

Supplies:
Altenew Tea Time stamps and dies
Avery Elle Festive Wreath stamps and dies
Photoplay Thinking of you stamps and dies
Sunny Studio Quilted Hearts Embossing Folder
Jillibean "Enjoy" sentiment (heat embossed) stamp and die

I am so pleased that you stopped by!  Pop on over to the blog hop and see all the creative cards.

Monkey Coffee Break

Hello and thank you for stopping by!  I always love a good scene card and I came up with the idea of "Monkey Coffee Break".  Of course my monkeys are mischievous and are fighting over the cup of coffee!
Simon Says Stamp SSS Sketchy Lines Background Stamp plus Alcohol Lift Ink.

I am so excited to be joining the The Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

My card process:

  • My first step was creating this fun background.  I started by making an alcohol ink background with blues and greens.  After the panel was dry, I used Simon Says Stamp Sketchy Lines background stamp with Alcohol Lift Ink to create the striations in the background.  I really like the end result.
  • Next, I stamped the images, colored with Copic markers and die cut.  The monkeys are from Photo  Play "We Bought a Zoo".
  • I wanted to frame the vignette so I used MFT's Stitched Rectangle dies.
  • I embossed the sentiment:  Simon's Says Stamp - Beautiful Ride.
  • I adhered the monkeys and frame with foam tape.
I think this is a fun card and I am so pleased to be submitting it to the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

I am happy you stopped by!

Coffee Time

Hello and thank you for stopping by!  I always love a good scene card and I came up with the idea of a Coffee/Tearoom as seen from the street for the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's fun blog hop.  I just love their hops!
Coffee scene card using My Monthly Hero January 2019 and April 2017.
Card Process:

  1. I started by inking Citron Distress Ink on the background. I wanted the bottom to be darker and then fade upward.
  2. Next I created my scene.  I used the following stamp sets and colored with Zigs:  My Monthly Hero January 2019 (shoppe and bike), Altenew Garden Grow (table and bird), My Monthly Hero April 2017 (dog), Life Time Tea set.
  3. I embossed the sentiment:  Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Ride and then assembled the card.
This card reminds me of the beautiful little shops you find in Europe.

I am so pleased to be submitting this card to: The Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop

I am happy to stopped by!
